This school has come a long way since its inception in making a significant mark as an educational institution of high repute. Growth of this school is the result of striving of some enlightened and public spirited people of Pallippuram. Circumstances drove a few parents to come up with the idea of this school. Inspired by the ideas of Sri Manvila Sevarios, the Kaniyapuram Model Public School was set up near Kaniyapuram bus stand on 20 May 2005 and later it was shifted to Pallipuram on 28 April 2006.
Many eminent personalities have contributed a lot for the development of this ‘Temple of learning’. With an array of eminent educationalists at the helms as advisers such as the founder principal of this institution Sri. Pangappara Ramachandran Sir, the former Principal of Arts College Sri. Kazhakkootam George Vargeese, Sri Kasim Pilla, former C.O of Model Public School Sri Andoorkonam Sreedharan Nair, our former principal Sri. Vasudevan Namboothiri, the school is steadily gaining heights. Apart from this, Model Public School of today is the result of the collaborative effort of the trust members.
